Progress Report: Digital Media Solutions Test Drive

Schools and Districts from throughout British Columbia have answered the call and have submitted applications to participate in the Digital Media Solutions Test Drive, which will include cross curricular streamed video, online eTextbook and media rich resources to support student learning. Schools from as far away as Sir Alexander MacKenzie Secondary in Bella Coola and R.L. Angus Elementary School in Fort Nelson along with South Delta Secondary in Delta and G.P. Vanier Secondary in the Comox Valley have indicated an enthusiastic interest in test driving digital solutions with their students.

Throughout February, schools will be matched with vendors, teachers will participate in ERAC evaluator training and ERAC will help coordinate District and school level implementation and access to digital media products. Throughout the rest of the winter and spring of 2011, teachers and students will test drive digital media solutions.
